Kids Jiu-Jitsu Classes in Fort Lauderdale
Helping children develop confidence, focus, discipline, and self-defense skills in a safe and structured environment.
Helping Kids Build Confidence, Focus, and Discipline
As parents, we all want our children to be confident, respectful, and prepared to face life’s challenges. Yet many kids today struggle with confidence, have difficulty focusing, spend too much time in front of the screens, or simply need a positive activity that helps them grow.
At Fort Lauderdale Jiu-Jitsu, our Youth Program is designed to do more than
teach martial arts. Through structured instruction, positive coaching, and
age-appropriate challenges, students learn valuable life skills that carry over
into school, home, and everyday life.

My son has been to FLJJ for almost 3 years. Our expectations of the class were to develop strength and skillsets related to self defense. I quickly began to realize that self defense is a byproduct of a different kind of training. Mr. Bruce calls it “back belt training.
My son has developing a black belt mindset which they refer to as “how you do anything is how you do everything.” They teach these impressionable kids this ancient lost art that applies to every aspect of life.

Absolutely Amazing Jiu-Jitsu Program!
My 9-year-old daughter has been attending this jiu-jitsu class for a few months now, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the impact it has had on her. Not only has she gained physical strength and coordination, but her confidence has truly blossomed. She walks taller, speaks more assertively, and takes on new challenges with a can-do attitude.

Fort Lauderdale Jiu Jitsu(FLJJ)has really been a game-changer for my son over the past three months. From the first few classes with Mr. Bruce, it was evident that FLJJ is more than just a martial arts school; it’s a place where personal growth, discipline, and confidence thrive.
One of the best parts of Fort Lauderdale Jiu Jitsu is the team Mr. Bruce, Ms. Katarina and the assistant instructors. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all the students. My son is not only learning the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu and self-defense but has also gained valuable life skills such as discipline, respect, and focus.
